Richard Copp, Enterprise Excellence Consultant, has over 35 years of experience in commercial, technical, operations, and senior management positions in several industries. Richard started his career as an industrial statistician leading teams to solve difficult design and process problems. Richard has extensive experience in leading organizations to achieve substantial performance improvement by implementing lean methods and systems. Richard has published numerous articles on the quality sciences and co-authored a book on statistical problem solving entitled “Statistical Problem Solving: A Team Process for Identifying and Resolving Problems.” Richard graduated magna cum laude from Albion College, where he was nominated to Phi Beta Kappa and holds an MBA degree from the University of Mississippi. Richard holds a certificate in Lean Manufacturing from the Mississippi State University Bagley College of Engineering’s Center for Advanced Vehicle Systems and is an ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt. Richard and his wife, Darlene, reside in Oxford, Mississippi where they attend St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
